Some things are just meant to be.
No matter how hard life hits you or where you end up, somehow, through some magic, things unfold just the way they are supposed to – perfectly.
One day, Nicole, a mom of three from Georgia, was on her way to a birthday party when something truly harrowing caught her attention. A small pup, barely alive, struggled on the side of the road.
Nicole immediately rushed out of the car – and, as it turned out, changed her life forever! She just didn’t know that yet and neither did the pup!
She Was Skin And Bones
One thing is for sure: the puppy was a victim of harsh abandonment. She was cruelly dumped by the road and left without anything. By the time Nicole discovered her, she was already covered in ticks and fleas.
“As I was driving to a birthday party, I found a puppy that had been dumped on the side of the road. She was skin and bones, covered in fleas and ticks and in desperate need of love,” Nicole wrote on Instagram.
Nicole came up with a plan. Instead of leaving the dog at the spot or rushing it to the shelter, she decided to keep her – at least for some time.
She and her family already had a pup named Rosie, and she just wanted to make sure this newly-found dog had proper care, too. But, that’s when things started to get even more beautiful!
Very soon, the entire family embraced the rescue pup. Her three kids named her Nala Grace and formed a very special bond with her, especially Sebastian.
He begged his mom and dad to make Nala a new family member for days. And, that’s when Nala officially found her new Georgia family!
The Sweetest Foster Failure
This sweet girl had no choice but to stay with Sebastian, Nicole, and the rest of her hoomans. On the other hand, they didn’t have a choice either! With her sweetness and cheerful personality, Nala practically talked them into adopting her.
“I brought her home with the intent of getting her healthy and fostering her till I found the right home. However she had different plans,” Nicole added.
The entire family was more than happy to keep Nala in their lives. She quickly acclimated to Rosie and the indoor environment, and soon displayed her lively pup spirit.
In order to transform her into a decent family dog, the family signed Nala up for a boarding training program where she learned all about socialization, good manners, and commands.
Very soon, Nala became a full member of her new family.
Her new owners make sure to never make her feel abandoned, betrayed, or hurt again.
“We all fell in love and decided that we would be her home, so she would never again have to experience being mistreated and thrown out like trash again,” she concluded.
Nala, on the other hand, reciprocates with cuddles, kisses, and the sweetest tail wags. She’s finally at the right place with the right people!
