One thing that always surprised me when I was younger was hearing strange noises around the house because it always frightened me.
Then, after investigating the matter further, I usually found out a critter was lying somewhere in the grass, or it was on the house making a weird sound as a cry for help.
Normally, if I saw that they were in trouble, I would do what I could to help, but situations like this are really rare.
However, they still do happen and this woman from Washington was an eye witness to something extremely odd happening to her attic radon fan, so she decided to check it out.
What Was Inside It?

After hearing a strange noise coming from the fan, a woman named Monique first thought that it was broken, but she decided to look at it anyway.
The sounds didn’t stop, but when she looked inside it, she was completely shocked by what she saw. There was a fuzzy tail just barely visible next to one of the fan’s blades.
It was obvious that some kind of animal was stuck inside it and was crying out for help. They looked deeper inside and realized it was a squirrel.

The poor animal couldn’t get out, so Monique and her husband tried to help it. They called for rescuers from Raven Ridge Wildlife Center in Washington and they came to help.
They immediately noticed how scared the squirrel was, so they sedated him to make this task a bit easier for them.
It Was A Squirrel

Then, they tried prying the fan apart in order to get the animal out. They were very careful during the whole process and the rescuers were able to get the squirrel out safely.
As soon as the squirrel woke up, he looked totally fine. He immediately started grooming himself, and the rescuers breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the squirrel would be okay.
Shortly after this, the rescuers took the squirrel back to his home and released him into the wild. They were so glad that everything turned out okay.

Hopefully, incidents like this won’t happen again because situations like this can get really complex if not dealt with properly or in time.
Raven Ridge Wildlife Center wrote in a post on Facebook: “We may never know what unique challenges will come through our doors, but our unwavering commitment to helping wildlife remains resolute. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these animals and preserve the delicate balance of our ecosystem.”
It’s heartwarming to see how dedicated these people are to preserving wildlife and natural order. They are really amazing for helping out this squirrel when he needed them the most.
