Texas Woman Follows Strange Paw Prints In The Snow And Discovers Something Shocking

Even though winter is my favorite season of the year, I can’t deny that it can be tough on everyone, not just humans.

Stray animals struggle to find shelter in the snow, and gathering food is even more difficult in the cold weather.

However, they have no other choice, so they have to keep looking for help or they would not make it. It’s truly heartbreaking to witness something like this, so it’s always important to offer help if we can.

When this kind woman from Texas noticed a stray dog family lying in the snow, she immediately called a rescuer for help.

Rescuing The Family

After Mayra Luna received a call about a struggling dog family, she quickly reacted and prepared to go and help them.

She drove to the location where the family was staying and it didn’t take her very long to find them. What she saw broke her heart.

The entire dog family was just lying in the snow. She examined the puppies closely and realized that they were only a few days old.

Despite the circumstances, all of the puppies looked healthy and well-fed thanks to their mom.

Luna told The Dodo: “When I first got word of them, I figured I would find them in a frail state, but their mom had done such a tremendous job of keeping them warm and fed.

After realizing that Luna was going to help her puppies, the mama dog relaxed and warmly greeted her. After realizing that she was friendly, Luna tried to take her into her vehicle.

Everything was going well and the mama was following her rescuer. She tried to get the pup to get into the car and go without any hesitation whatsoever.

This was great for Luna because it meant that this was going to be an easy rescue. She returned for the puppies and loaded them all into her car.

A New Journey Forward

After that, she went back to her home in Texas to help them all get warm and settled. Luna said: “I told their mom I had her babies and that they were all safe now, [and] that she had done a fantastic job.

Even though they didn’t have any severe conditions, the puppies had frostbite and their mom was having digestion problems.

After a treatment that took a few days, the entire dog family was doing much better. In Luna’s care, the entire family changed for the better with each day.

Soon enough, the puppies started opening their eyes and it looked like they were starting to like their new rescuer.

Everything was completely new for them, so they wanted to explore the house. They always liked it when Luna guided them.

She said: “The puppies hit new milestones each day, like opening their eyes, tilting their heads when they hear the door, or wagging their tails when my sister or I walk in the room.

They decided to give them all names: The mom is called Ember, and the puppies are Phoenix, Pyra, Kindle, Spark, and Cinder.

Even though the puppies are doing great now, they still need a little more time before they will be available for adoption.

Until then, Luna will take care of them and make sure that they grow up to be strong and healthy dogs so they can make someone happy someday.
