Simon is no exception!
In fact, he’s not just the treasure of his family… he’s the one finding treasure.

(Don’t) Leave It, Simon
One day, Simon was out on his daily walk with his dad in their California neighborhood when something strange in the nearby water stream caught his attention. He went straight for it, not minding his dad’s disapproval.
“Hey, no! Come on, leave it,” Simon’s dad can be heard saying in the video.
Little did he know that his Corgi was about to make his day!
As he looked closely into the stream, he realized that Simon had just found a $50 bill! How about that?
“What is that? Is that fifty dollars,” his owner added.
All of a sudden, Simon’s mischievous behavior didn’t seem so mischievous. He indeed made his dad fifty dollars richer – and was kind of proud of it. To be fair, he had a good reason!
The entire “treasure hunt” was recorded on camera, and Simon’s mom and dad decided to post it on TikTok. Soon enough, everyone was raving about this Corgi’s stunning find, emphasizing his amazing abilities.
Sure, others didn’t miss the opportunity to make hilarious jokes in the comment section.
“He just paid his rent,” one commenter wrote.
“Showed this to my dog and he said it’s AI,” another joked.
One user had an interesting idea. Given that Simon had found the money, he suggested his family spend it on treating their dog.
“Take him to the pet store to buy $50 worth of treats,” he wrote.
And, guess what? That’s exactly what Simon’s mom and dad did!
A Well-Deserved Reward
Simon is a good boi and he deserves to be treated like one.
After finding “treasure,” his owners decided to reward him by spending all the money he found in the Petco store in California.
In another TikTok video, they recorded Simon sniffing around at the store, searching for his new dog bed… and some new toys!
Eventually, Simon found one that fit him perfectly!
“My mom and dad took me to Petco today to pick out a new bed and some new toys. Here’s me picking out a new bed, I kind of like this one. Here I am sniffing around, but this one’s the real winner here,” Simon “narrates” in the video.
