Dogs can be very sneaky when they need things from us. Sometimes, they will try their best to act polite in order to get what they want because they know it works.
Sometimes, they will just look at you with puppy eyes when you eat, in hopes that you give them some food, even though they just ate five minutes ago.
Even though you don’t want them to get fat, you can’t always resist giving them some food. This is a really clever tactic that they employ to trick us.

A Clever Plan
When Adam Paul Williams noticed his dog, Olive, looking at him with puppy eyes, he realized that the dog probably wanted something from him.
He got up, and she started wagging her tail. Adam realized that she was excited about something, so he noticed that she wanted him to follow her.
Because he was curious about where this was leading, he did as she asked. He suspected what her plan was. Olive might have broken something, but it was hard to tell.
She was moving, and the entire time, she looked back to see if her owner was following her. It’s almost like this was something that he couldn’t miss.
Then, they arrived at the food bowl, and Olive gave him one final look and pointed at the food that should have been already prepared for her.
Adam realized that her sneaky plan was entirely about this. He wasn’t really surprised, but the entire situation was pretty hilarious, so he recorded it.

Shortly after, Adam posted this short clip on his TikTok channel. Unsurprisingly, this pup from Texas got a lot of attention with his sneaky plan.

Yeah, that also surprised me. His whole way of having his owner follow him while he was looking back and also pointing at the food bowl is really hilarious.

This is really surprising to see from other people. I have never noticed my dog being picky about food. He is just happy to see it.

See? This is exactly what I am talking about. When they give you the puppy eyes after asking for food, how do you even say no? I know I wouldn’t be able to.
Nevertheless, this situation really showed me just how intelligent and communicative dogs can be when they need something. I am surprised by them almost every day, and short videos like this always make me laugh.
