Despite being abandoned and neglected, dogs remain faithful to their owners and they continue believing in their love.
Balu stayed loyal to his family after they dumped him behind a house and left him to fend for himself.
The pup was heartbroken. He kept crying for days, hoping that his owners would return for him.
Luckily, a kind-hearted neighbor noticed the abandoned pup and called dog rescuers, urging them to help him.
Balu Meets Good People
When the rescuers arrived at the address and saw Balu, their hearts sank. He sniffed the ground, tirelessly searching for morsels of food.
The pup was only skin and bones. He barely had the strength to stand on his paws.
It was clear that Balu had a hard life. His skin was sore and most of his fur was missing.
The rescuers noticed that he also had a wound on his neck because he was tied up.
When the team invited Balu to come with them, he didn’t want to leave his spot. He wished to continue waiting for his owners.
Luckily, the good people talked to him and they eventually managed to convince him to follow them. They carried him to their car and rushed him to the vet.
On the way to the hospital, Balu curled up in the car. He was so exhausted that he quickly fell asleep.
As soon as he reached the hospital, the vet gave him a complete checkup.
The five-month-old pup was starving but the staff couldn’t feed him because he needed to wait for his blood draw.
Fifteen minutes later, the staff brought Balu a meatloaf and he munched the food as fast as he could. It was probably the most delicious meal he ever had.
Since the pup was extremely dehydrated, he was given IV fluids.
When the staff noticed that Balu was still sorrowful, they consoled him, telling him that his life would change for the better.
The Pup’s Journey To Happiness
Balu’s human friends continued caring for him and treating him affectionately.
They fed Balu three times a day, hoping that he would soon reach the ideal weight and regain strength.
They gave him medicated baths in order to help his skin heal.
Balu felt glad because he now had human friends who did everything in their power to help him. He was very grateful to them and he gave them many kisses.
Gradually, he began gaining muscle and his rough skin started healing.
As days passed, Balu regained his strength. He started running around, wishing to celebrate his second chance at life. He couldn’t stop wagging his tail.
Eventually, the doggo reached full health and new luscious fur regrew.
From a heartbroken skinny puppy who was running out of strength, Balu transformed into a gorgeous and happy dog.
He found a great family who loved him immensely and turned him into the happiest pup on the planet.
Balu lives his best life with his humans. He loves cuddling and relaxing with them on the couch. Finally, he has owners who dote on him and treasure him like he deserves.
