Kansas Rescuer Was Devastated After Finding A Pup Who Was Left In A Cage During A Snowstorm

Despite the fact that Kansas has been through a big snowstorm, the animal rescuers working in the state had no breaks.

Their job was still the same. They had to do their best to help any person or animal in need and that is exactly what they did.

Recently, one of the rescuers from KC Pet Project, Angelina, was on duty when she suddenly received a call about a dog who was trapped in a snowstorm and needed help so she answered the call.

Heartbreaking Sight

The kind woman got into her vehicle and drove as fast as she could, even though there was a very heavy snowstorm at the time.

Apparently, the call for help came from an elderly man who was woken up by barking. When he peeked through his window, he was horrified by what he saw, so he immediately made a phone call.

After rushing to the location in Kansas where the report came from, Angelina was shocked by what she witnessed. A dog was just left in a crate on a sidewalk.

The weather was freezing and the crate was so small that the pup could barely move in it. She had no way to shelter herself from the cold and it was just heartbreaking to see.

When the woman approached him, the pup visibly started wagging her tail. She looked so happy that someone came to pick her up.

She was shivering the whole time, but the pup understood that she was about to be saved. Angelina was still stunned that someone would do this.

How can anyone leave a sweet puppy all by himself to freeze in this weather? After the woman took the pup in her vehicle, she immediately told the caller that the pup was now being cared for.

The elderly man who made the call was so happy to hear that the puppy was safe and in good hands. He thanked the kind rescuer for answering the call.

Rescuers were happy to learn that the pup had no injuries and no frostbite, so she recovered pretty fast.

Shortly after being rescued, the pup was visibly happier. She was playing with everyone in the shelter and it was like she was never abandoned.

All that mattered to her were the kind people who saved her. Because she was such a sweet dog, the rescuers believed that she would find the perfect home soon.

They placed her on an adoption list and there have already been quite a few applications.

It should come as no surprise that this sweet little pup is now living her best life with someone who will treat her right.
