One day, Suzette Hall was about to embark on one of her many rescue missions, unaware of the surprise that awaited her.
She arrived at the parking lot of a California shelter to capture a pup who was wandering around the nearby road.
Fortunately, the rescue mission was successful.
As Hall made her way toward the shelter entrance in order to tell the staff that the dog was safe, she noticed something that stopped her in her tracks.
There were two cardboard boxes at the shelter door that suddenly started moving.
Confused Puppies

The rescuer noticed that the boxes were sealed with tape and had holes on the side.
After she approached them, she spotted a nose poking out of one of the cardboard boxes and she jumped into action.
Hall and the shelter staff opened the boxes and discovered two tiny puppies who looked confused and scared.
At that point, the furbabies couldn’t have imagined that their family had given them up so easily.
Sadly, many dog owners choose to dump their dogs in front of the shelter in order to avoid paying surrender fees.

The California rescuer was glad that she happened to be at the right place at the right time.
The shelter where these puppies were abandoned was overcrowded, and Hall didn’t want them to stay there.
Knowing that the furballs would have a better chance of finding forever families in Logan’s Legacy 29, the rescuer brought them with her.
“It was honestly a little miracle that I was there, because they had taken them to the wrong shelter. I was able to get them to just surrender them to me,” Hall wrote on Facebook.
Realizing They Are Safe And Loved
She comforted the sad puppies, a boy and a girl, promising them everything would be alright.
The rescuer’s kind words and her cuddles brought much-needed relief to the furbabies, later named Eve and Forrest.
Once Hall carried them to her car, they felt at ease.
“They are so incredibly sweet, oh my goodness gracious,” Hall added.
Hall took Eve and Forrest to the vet where they were checked.
Fortunately, the puppies were given a clean bill of health, and they just needed to relax.

A few days later, they moved to a foster home where their fosters dote on them and shower them with affection.
Thanks to their love and care, Eve and Forrest feel cherished and safe.

They hope that they will soon meet their forever families and start a brand-new life by their side.
After the hardship they went through, these pups deserve to know that they will never be abandoned and rejected again.
