Many dog stories begin in a very sad and heartbreaking tone… so much so that it is hard to imagine that things can get better.
However, there somehow always emerges a good soul who saves the day with kindness and love for these helpless creatures and creates the happiest possible ending.
It was the same this time when good-hearted rescuers found a pregnant dog who was wandering the streets about to give birth.
Of course, these compassionate souls immediately reacted and saved this poor mother dog. They themselves could not even dream of how much happiness it would bring them.
Mother And Her Little Babies
As soon as they brought the mother dog to safety, they named her Ginger and noticed that she was carrying a lot of puppies.
Soon, Ginger was in active labor and everything was ready for the little ones to come into this world. After eight hours of labor, she delivered her first puppy and that was a truly special moment.
Eventually, she gave birth to nine puppies and gave kisses to each and every one of them with the same huge amount of love.
The puppies were all extremely cute, and what was most important was they were all completely healthy. Ginger was quite exhausted but was committed to caring for her little ones no matter how tired she was. That’s how big her love was.
The big-hearted rescuers also helped her with that and named her babies Squirrel, Thor, Buster, Lefty, Carl, Rottie, Lucky, Dana, and Van Gogh.
All of them were surrounded by love and attention and they did not lack anything. It was an excellent prerequisite for them to thrive every day, and that’s exactly how it was.
While they were growing, they started to move around, and in a few days, they finally opened their eyes and saw the world for the first time.
Ginger was so proud, and now she knew that a bright future was ahead of her beloved children.
Her New Little Fur Of Joy
After two months of pure motherly love as well as the love of their caretakers, the puppies were full-grown boys ready for their new beginnings. They did not have to wait for long because they soon got adopted into amazing families.
Although Ginger felt a bit lonely at the beginning, she was happy that her babies got the lives they deserved. Aside from that, now her caretakers could devote much more time to her and she could rest and enjoy the things she loves.
However, this dog seemed to be unable to live without her little ones because one day, she saw a tiny orphaned kitten on the road and immediately cried out to save him.
When they brought the feline baby home, they found out that he weighed only 0.3 pounds, his eyes were very injured and he was only about seven days old.
The caretakers named him Jackson and put him in an incubator so that he could survive. The sweetest thing about his stay in the incubator was that Ginger was constantly checking on him, making sure that he was okay.
As he was almost blind, Jackson couldn’t see her at first. However, when they started giving him drops for his eyes, his vision slowly returned. When he was almost three weeks old, Jackson could clearly see again and Ginger was the first one he saw.
It was love at first sight and now Ginger was like his new mother. They were always together, i.e., Jackson was almost always in her arms.
Every day, their bond grew deeper and stronger, and after a while, there was no force that could separate them. Both were found on the street and both were destined for a tragic fate from which good souls saved them.
Maybe that’s why fate brought them together and made them inseparable, in a new, happy life they couldn’t even dream of at the beginning of this heartwarming story.
