Helping out animals who need your help is a truly noble thing to do, especially when they are really vulnerable.
Puppies, for example, often abandoned on the streets, can not understand the complicated world around them, which makes it really difficult for them to survive.
Having to find food, but not knowing where, seeing most people ignore your pleas for help. It’s incredibly heartbreaking to see that.
Luckily, even in large groups of people, there is just that one person who will notice the puppy’s suffering and offer aid.
That’s what happened to this dog when a kind woman crossed paths with her and decided to help her out.
She Was So Dirty
When a kind woman first spotted this small puppy in the mud, she was horrified by what she saw. She approached the pup in hopes of helping him.
Poor baby was shaking the whole time, and her rescuer deduced that she couldn’t have been older than a month or two.
She saw just how much the puppy was struggling. She was likely abandoned by someone, and she just didn’t know how to survive.
Now that she was there, the woman took her back to her house immediately and tried to clean all of the dirt and mud from her.
She bought some milk and gave it to her. How quickly she reacted to it is just shocking. She must have been starving for a while now, but couldn’t do anything to help herself.
Now that she was well-fed, she just wanted to lie down and relax. Even though she was still a bit anxious about being in a house, you could just tell that the puppy was happy to be with his rescuer.
Bagel Is Finally Relaxed
She spent her first night in the new home and then the kind woman took her to the veterinarian clinic the very next day.
The results came back and she was in good health. All she will need are her vaccinations in a few months and that is it.
This pup, now named Bagel, was taken home where her new mom continued to care for her. That’s right, she decided to adopt her, and this was really great news.
Slowly, but surely, she would get used to her name, and she just loved her new mom. The two of them were hard to separate.
Bagel received regular meals because she is still a very small puppy and needs a lot of nourishment.
Her mom even took Bagel to work one day, where her colleagues just couldn’t resist her cuteness. She was too adorable and they loved having her there.
Bagel Is Living Her Best Life
Now, it was time for her to receive her deworming treatment so Bagel’s mom took her to the clinic. She looked a bit nervous at first but pulled through it because she had her special person right there.
Even though her health was mostly okay, Bagel’s mom noticed that she kept gagging a lot, so she took her for a checkup again and they determined that she had some digestive issues.
She would receive treatment that made her feel better, and it was already time for her vaccinations. Bagel was really brave and this time it was a lot easier for her.
At one point, she was so excited to see her mom that Bagel rushed to her and got her small foot stuck in the door. Even though she got injured, she was able to heal fairly quickly.
Even that wasn’t enough to break her spirit, as she still continued being a very joyful and playful puppy who just wanted to enjoy herself all the time.
Bagel is so lucky to have met such a wonderful person. She has everything now and it’s really heartwarming to know that she is in such good hands.
