When a rescuer received a video of a homeless pup lying in the middle of a muddy road, they were left heartbroken.
They couldn’t help but wonder how people can be so cruel to these helpless animals, walking past them while they are fighting for their lives.
All they could think about was how cold and tired he must have been, causing him to give up all hope. So, without wasting a single second, they gathered up a team and headed over to the location.

The rescuers found the sweet pup trembling and whimpering right by the side of the road.
But the second the pup met their eyes, he tried to stand up and run away. At that moment, the rescuers saw that his situation was worse than they thought. The dog had a broken leg and was unable to stand up.
The rescuers immediately devised a plan that enabled them to get the pup in their car and rush him to the nearest medical clinic.
At The Vet
The second he arrived, the pup, now named Daniel, was taken to the emergency room for a much-needed medical examination.
His test results showed that he was quite sick with a very low temperature. They also found out that he had no reflexes in his back legs. The vets determined that he had a broken vertebra, probably due to a car accident.
Without wasting any more time, the vets got Daniel on all the necessary medications and transferred him to a bigger hospital so that he could receive the treatment that would help him get back on his paws again.
Luckily, Daniel was a very sweet and calm boy and he was more than cooperative during the whole process.
As soon as they arrived at the hospital, he was taken to surgery so that he could get his spine readjusted.
Almost There
The procedure was a success and Daniel was finally able to begin his recovery journey.
Little by little, he began coming out of his shell, showing everybody how good of a boy he truly was. He absolutely adored spending time in the sun, eating his yummy food and hanging out with his furry friends.
The first time his rescuers saw him walking all on his own, they were brought to tears.
Knowing that they helped a sweet soul regain his strength and live a happy life reminded them of how important their jobs are.
Fast forward to today and Daniel is absolutely thriving with his new forever family. He is living his best life with people who love and adore him, remniding him every day of how important he truly is!
