Whenever we read rescue stories on the internet where a dog was abandoned in a remote location, the question we all have in our minds is: why?
I mean, how can you not think this? Why does it seem so hard for people who own dogs but don’t want them to at least surrender them to the shelter?
Like, that’s the least they can do. It doesn’t cost much, but it can change everything for a dog because he can make someone else’s life so much better.
The simple truth of the matter is that these people just don’t care, and they can’t even be bothered to do something so simple.
This is basically what happened to this pup who was abandoned at a park in California. Fortunately for her, a kind rescuer named Suzette Hall was planning on a rescue mission.
She Was In Danger

When Suzette Hall first received information about this pup at the park, she was heartbroken to hear that someone had done that.
The pup was scared, but she was initially not alone. As they later found out, there were two dogs in the park, and they were just trying to survive.
However, there was a big problem with that. There were coyotes nearby, and they were not scared to get near the park.

They attacked one of the dogs, and he passed away from the injuries inflicted in the attack. Then, this lone pup had to survive on her own.
She kept wondering if her friend was going to wake up, but that didn’t happen. She would walk around the park in search of food, and she would go back to the bushes every time.
Hall was seriously distressed after hearing this, so she wanted to help. However, she couldn’t do it herself at that moment, so she sent two rescuers, Arturo Flores and Lou Dora, to check on her.
Things Are Looking Up

As expected, that didn’t go too well because this pup was now afraid of everything around her, so they had to get clever.
More of the rescuers, named Nuñez Aky, Yamileth, and Karla, came to help, and they stayed until dark in hopes of catching this pup.
After a while, they were able to catch her. They noticed that she was wet and covered in sticks. The rescuers wasted no time, so they took her to a shelter in California.

All of them breathed a collective sigh of relief knowing that she was safe now and she won’t end up attacked and injured like her friend.
Now that things are looking up, this pup has received treatment from a veterinarian, and I am pretty sure that her rescuers will do whatever they can to secure a normal life for her.
While we don’t have information on when that will happen, it’s comforting to at least know that she is now relaxing and living a better life, thanks to her rescuers.
