True owners love their dogs so much that they would do anything for them. This is especially true when the dog is sick or when their life is in danger.
There is no money that the owner would not give to save their best furry friend and enjoy happy moments with them for years to come.
However, sometimes some people rush in too soon and, with the best intentions, make the wrong move, i.e. spend too much money unnecessarily.
This is exactly what happened to Jen Lee when, with tears in her eyes, she realized what was really wrong with her “sick” dog.
“Fart Massage”
Soon after Jen Lee adopted a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, whom she named Maggie, the two became inseparable. Their bond was so strong that Lee couldn’t imagine her life without Maggie anymore.
Unfortunately, one day something happened that this woman was most afraid of. Maggie wasn’t feeling well, and when she rushed her to the vet, the dog was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Veterinarians gave her 3-6 months to live.
In the following days, Lee did everything to make every moment she spent with Maggie special. Sadly, she was aware that the worst could happen at any moment.
Just seven days after the diagnosis, Maggie started breathing rapidly, and Lee was convinced that she was in congestive heart failure.
That’s why she immediately reacted, spending $650 on an emergency vet visit in order to save her beloved doggo. As a result of being shaken by this development, she was very pessimistic about the final outcome.
However, something happened that she never expected. The vets determined that the real cause of Maggie’s heavy breathing was her gassy stomach!
In the TikTok video, Lee posted on October 17, 2024, she can be seen resolving her dog’s health issue by giving her a very special treatment.
“Giving my dog a fart massage after spending [$650] on an emergency vet visit thinking she was in CHF but it was just gas…” a distraught Lee wrote in the video.
From crying for her dog who she thought she was seeing for the last time in her life to teary eyes caused by an unpleasant smell, all in one day.
And “only” $650 for that unforgettable experience.
Hilarious Reactions
This video attracted a lot of attention, especially from the people who were following Lee’s previous clips that featured her dog’s health issues.
It was a shock to all of them, but a positive one that actually caused many hilarious reactions.
“My dog once had a $500 fart.” one user wrote.
“My dog just had an $1100 fart. I need to do this massage daily.” another added.
The third joked: “Terribly dissatisfied that you didn’t post the fart.”
Although Lee had to go through a roller coaster of emotions and pay a small fortune to the vet, it’s a small price to pay when you know that your best furry friend is well and will continue to make your life joyful.
