Are you ever able to leave your dog at home while you run errands?
And, if you do, what is their reaction when you come back? Are they impatiently waiting by the door, overhearing your every step before you finally open it? Or, are they huddled in the corner, giving you that judgy, “how could you leave me” look?
Well, Magnus, here, did none of that.
Unlike most dogs, this brilliant Labrador Retriever did something that left his owner (and later, the entire internet) howling with laughter.
Here’s what happened!
Are You For Real, Magnus?

One thing is for sure: for Brian Benson, a New York resident, life with Magnus is never boring. It’s quite the opposite!
One day, Brian left the house for about an hour, leaving Magnus home alone. When he came back, he expected the dog to be at the door and greet him, but that didn’t happen.
He opened the door and Magnus was nowhere to be seen.

After he checked more carefully, he realized that Magnus was actually – half asleep! He was practically half-sitting on the couch with his belly up, on the floor completely relaxed and chilling.
His tongue was out and his front paws were hanging as if he was having the best nap of his life! He didn’t look bothered that his dad was gone at all.

“I came home and found my dog like this. I was only gone for about an hour. I am not sure exactly what happened. He is usually such a good boy. Should I even ask,” Brian wrote in the video.
Stunned by what he had just witnessed, Brian, who caught the whole situation on camera, decided to share the video of Magnus with their followers.
Needless to say, the comment section was flooded with hilarious reactions!
“How you think the house is that clean….he’s exhausted!!,” one commenter wrote.
“You can remove the ‘beware of the dog’ sign,” another added.
He’s So Much More Than A Pet

Sure, just like any dog, Magnus has his quirky sides, but did you know that he’s in fact a certified therapy dog?
You’ve read it right!
This New York pup is truly one of a kind. Not only is he a great pet, but he has a great ability to help other people cope with different kinds of issues.
“After lots of research it became obvious that Magnus’ personality, temperament, and intelligence were perfect for a therapy dog,” Magnus’ official website reads.

Magnus helps terminally ill people (including children), grieving families, children with learning disabilities, children with emotional disorders, and even hospital workers who are often overlooked in the process of treating hospice patients.
He does all of that exclusively with the biggest smile on his face. His personality and his friendly attitude definitely heal broken hearts, and that’s probably one of Magnus’ biggest qualities!
Thank you, Magnus, for all your kind work!
P.S. Please keep these hilarious videos coming!
