Every dog’s dream is to have a family that loves them and a nice place to call their own.
Sadly, only a few lucky ones get to experience all this.
The rest spend their lifetimes trying to find at least a proper shelter beneath the sky, protecting themselves and their little ones from rain, snow, predators, and other dangers.
Mia, a resilient mama dog, was in the latter group of dogs, and her life wasn’t easy.
All Of Her Other Puppies Found Homes
A local rescuer was truly devastated when she found Mia struggling on an abandoned property alongside her nine babies.
The entire family was far from any resources and a decent life. They barely had food to eat and no one to care for them until she decided to give them a chance. She gently scooped up every single one of them and took them to a safer place.
Within days, Mia and the puppies were relocated to the organization called Howl Of A Dog, where they began a new chapter.
It didn’t take long for this sweet mama to exhibit her true personality. She was a true cuddle bug, a friendly companion who enjoyed meeting new people and dogs.
“Mia is approximately 7 years old, the sweetest dog in the whole world, she loves absolutely everyone, a very friendly personality, gentle and kind. And she gets along well with other dogs too,” the rescue wrote on their website.
Very soon, every single one of her puppies found a forever home – except Giny. For some reason, she was left out of the adoption process, although there’s no valid reason for her not to find a home.
She and her momma, Mia, remained the last ones in the rescue, waiting for adoption day and the perfect family.
Still Waiting
With her puppy fully grown, Mia got another companion to play with. The two are literally inseparable in the rescue, having a blast together.
Giny, too, grew into a playful dog and has a beautiful way with her shelter buddies. However, one thing she doesn’t have in common with her momma is her shy personality.
“Giny is a sweet young dog, very playful and she gets along great with all dogs. She is a little shy around people, but has a friendly personality and you can easily win her heart with a toy,” the rescue stated.
The two still hope to find the right home.
They have been residents in the shelter for more than six months, through no fault of their own. Both Mia and Giny are wonderful dogs who will certainly make excellent companions in any sort of family.
They are accustomed to other pets and humans of all ages, and are suitable for an adventurous family life!
When the time comes, both Mia and Giny will hopefully make their owners beyond happy, that’s for sure!
