Every owner who truly cares wants the best for his pet. He will provide it with the most nutritious and delicious food, the best veterinary care, a warm and comfy bed, as well as many heartwarming hugs and a lot of cuddling.
The pet also requires maintenance of hygiene, which implies regular visits to the groomer. In addition to being important for his appearance, it is even more necessary for his health, especially in the case of dogs.
However, not every dog is the same, which means that with some breeds it is not enough to just pick up a clipper in your hands, but you need to know how to use it properly.
One owner was unaware of this fact when he managed to convince his wife that their Goldendoodle didn’t need to go to the groomer but that he could simply do this work at home.
It would soon turn out that he was terribly wrong.
A Grooming Disaster
Reba is a Goldendoodle and she has distinctive fur, which, by the way, is beautiful in its own way. As such, it requires special maintenance, and unlike some other breeds, simply clipping it is not enough.
Apart from the fact that such a thing is not good for her appearance, it can even damage her health because her fur is a kind of protective shield for this dog’s sensitive skin.
Unfortunately, that didn’t stop Reba’s owner from convincing his wife that the trip to the groomer wasn’t necessary when she noticed that their dog was ready for the haircut.
In the TikTok clip posted by user @whitneypelfrey, we can see what the result of the husband’s endeavor was. He started the grooming session from the head but then stopped abruptly at the back when he realized what he had done.
You can see for yourself what this man did, thinking he knew how to do a job he was not trained for. He managed to turn such a beautiful dog into a grooming disaster.
Even though she knew roughly what was going to happen, his wife still couldn’t believe what her husband had done. However, their son was the most infuriated with his father because he mutilated their dog, and the last picture in the TikTok clip shows it best.
The little guy was simply furious with his frivolous father. We can only imagine how this man felt at that moment, considering that he is being scolded by his very own son, who, it seems, is not even ten years old.

This TikTok clip attracted a lot of attention, and most people found this specific situation very funny.

The third quipped: “18 years as a dog groomer.. I thought I’d seen it all.”
However, many people were impatiently waiting for the update. It was posted three months later but it was worth the wait.
“Luckily after sending photos to our groomer she got her in immediately!” @whitneypelfrey wrote in the new clip, with a photo of Reba at the groomer.
The cutest picture followed right after that. It showed Reba and their son who couldn’t hide his delight that his doggo was her old self again.
The clip ended with a picture and a text that again touched on the husband’s reckless decision to arbitrarily venture into the grooming profession.
The picture shows Reba sleeping peacefully, far from her dad and his hair clipper with which he messed her up.
