It was an ordinary day for these homeowners, who were just minding their business when they spotted something strange in their shed.
When they went to take a look at it, they were shocked by what they saw inside. There was a mama dog who had given birth to 6 puppies.
Immediately after, the kind people reacted and called rescuers for help. They were able to get there in no time and take the family to a vet.
They Were All In Rough Condition
The rescuers took the entire dog family to a clinic where they received a much needed checkup. Mama dog was placed on fluids so she could gain some strength.
She was still really weak, even though she had to take care of her puppies. The sweet mama did everything to help them as much as she could, but she didn’t have a lot of strength at the time.
Her rescuer loved to pet her and she seemed to enjoy being shown affection. It’s hard to tell if she was ever in a home. But, judging by her condition, if she ever did have owners, they didn’t take care of her.
She should weigh around 65 pounds, but the rescuers noted that she was far from that milestone. She will need to eat a lot to regain the weight and her rescuer will help her with that by taking her home.
The mama dog, now named Hope, was getting stronger during her recovery. It seemed like her mood was starting to shift, and she was slowly getting better.
After days of treatment by their amazing rescuer, the puppies and their mom were recovering and there was a noticeable change.
Hope And Her Family Have Recovered
Hope was now able to care for her children better and she would watch over them every waking moment to make sure they are okay.
It was truly heartwarming to see them grow and get stronger. They were really becoming a beautiful and happy dog family.
They were all starting to play outside a lot more and had a lot of energy. Even their mom was very playful.
When it came to naming the puppies, they were called: Hailee, Hannah, Hershey, Hutch, Honcho, and Henri.
All of them have grown up a lot in such a short amount of time and their rescuer couldn’t be happier for them. They have a bright future ahead.
Soon, they will be eligible for adoption and their rescuer will be able to place them on the list. They deserve to have a wonderful family
As for what happens next in their story, we don’t really know. However, it’s good to know that they were all doing well and I have no doubt that their rescuer will do everything in her power to help them lead the best life possible.
