We all know that street life isn’t suitable for any dog, let alone a little pooch.
Spending days without a single crumb in their stomach can really take a toll. So, they begin begging hoomans to offer them a helping hand. Unfortunately, not every hooman is a kind one as they tend to get violent with the stray pup.
Because of this, our furry friends lose our trust, making it really difficult for the hoomans who actually want to help them.
Rescuer Like No Other
When Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy, a rescue organization in Irvine, California, heard that somebody dumped two adorable siblings behind a mall, she wasn’t able to comprehend who would do such a cruel thing.
But, that didn’t matter anymore. The important thing was that she was a kind-hearted hooman willing to help any furry friend who needed her, no matter their size or breed.
And, even though it was late at night, Hall couldn’t even think about going to sleep, knowing that they were out all on their own. So, after gathering up her gear and calling her friend for some backup, she got in her car and headed to the location.
Two Furry Friends
When she finally met face-to-face with the pups, she was so thankful that they had each other as she knew how scared and confused they must have been.
But, when she saw the two furry siblings playing some games in order to distract each other from their harsh reality, the Californian rescuer was brought to tears.
She also noticed that the workers at the mall made these adorable pups a little bed and gave them some food. Such a kind gesture made Hall remember that the world was still full of good people.
As they finished their little play date, the curious pups noticed the two hoomans so they decided to approach them.
“We set up gates and Rosario sat on the ground. One jumped in her arms but the other one was too scared but he kept trying so hard to trust. All he wanted was to be with his friend,” Hall wrote in a Facebook post.
Luckily, the furry sibling managed to gather up his strength and approach the rescuer. And, just like that, the pups were saved!
Be Kind To Animals!
Since Hall is such a pawsome rescuer, I am sure that she will stop at nothing to find them a loving forever home where they can restore their trust in hoomans and live a life full of love and happiness.
But, I would like to take this opportunity to remind each other that animal cruelty is unacceptable!
If you are unable to take care of your furry friends, please consider taking them to your local shelter instead of leaving them on the streets and forcing them to fend for themselves.
They deserve more!
