An Employee Heard Loud Cries From Dumpster In San Dimas, Was Heartbroken When He Looked Inside

If we take a closer look around us, we can see abandoned dogs left to fend for themselves on the street every day. These heartbreaking scenes are almost always the result of human malice, which sometimes definitely knows no bounds.

The best proof of this is an event that happened in San Dimas, California on September 1, 2024. That day, a local employee heard cries from afar and decided to follow the sounds.

It led him to a California Business Park and finally to a container within the complex. When he got there, the cries were very loud, and this man already assumed what it was about.

However, when he finally looked inside, he was totally heartbroken.

3 Poor Babies

It was Sunday, Sept. 1, when a local employee found a heartbreaking surprise inside a dumpster – three helpless German Shepherd puppies. The news was shared in a Facebook post in the ‘Lost and Found Pets of La Verne and San Dimas’ Facebook group.

“Hi All, An employee found these dogs in the trash at 949 cataract San Dimas at a business park, animal control is not open. Can anyone help? I am up in Northern California and can’t do anything.” an employee’s colleague Linda Denise Valdez wrote.

She also added that the employee was unable to do anything because  “he himself lives in a motel and has no transportation.” During that time, the puppies were very hungry and needed urgent help to prevent the worst from happening.

Fortunately, the admin of this Facebook group, Carolyn Castro, soon saw this post and decided to react. However, she, herself, needed help from good people.

“I picked them up they do not have a chip. I really need someone with a larger area and kennel to foster them. Poor babies were starving and thirsty. Please message me.” she wrote in another Facebook post

Luckily, although the situation was dire, things were soon resolved in the best possible way.

“Safe And Sound”

Since so many people decided to message and offer help to Carolyn when they saw the post, they were able to bring them to safety.

In her interview for KTLA, Carolyn said she “picked up the dogs from the employee and brought them to get medical attention.” She also stated that the dog rescue, Big Dog Haven, started helping her nurse the puppies back to health.

However, according to Linda’s update, they eventually decided to transfer the puppies to Village Mutt, in Claremont, California, stating that it was the best decision. All in all, the puppies are finally safe and thriving, and that is the most important thing.

“I’m thrilled to announce that the dogs are safe and sound, thanks to the incredible efforts of *Carolyn* and the amazing people at *Village Mutt*!” Linda wrote in her update post.

In the end, she thanked all the people who helped in any way to save these fur babies: “A huge thank you to everyone for your unwavering support and concern. These beautiful pups have been rescued and are now in loving hands.”

Since Linda didn’t highlight it, we need to emphasize the good deed of the man who heard the cries of these puppies and decided to help instead of ignoring them.

Without a good soul like him, there would be neither this heartwarming story nor its happy ending. People like him are true heroes in today’s heartless and cruel world.
