When a driver in Los Angeles, California was about to leave the highway, they spotted two pointy black ears peeking out of the bushes near the exit ramp.
At first, the driver thought that the furry creature was a coyote, but when they took a closer look, they realized that it was actually a dog.
A black German Shepherd mix kept looking at the vehicles with eyes filled with fear.
Since the doggo lived there for weeks and everyone ignored her, she stopped believing that she would ever be rescued.
Little did she know that her life would soon take a turn for the better.
Good Humans Rush To Help The Doggo
The kind-hearted driver was determined to help the dog and they posted her location on social media, urging people to help her.
It didn’t take long for good humans to rush to the doggo’s aid.
Once they arrived at the spot, they started approaching her.
As soon as the dog, later named Miracle, noticed them, she became even more frightened. The dog bolted from her spot and disappeared into the distance.
Suzette Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, a dog rescue in Irvine, California, wanted to help Miracle, too.
When the rescuer heard about the terrible accident that occurred on the highway, she was terribly worried that something had happened to the doggo.
Hall reached out to the residents of the area and asked them to let her know if Miracle reappeared.
Luckily, several days later, the doggo came back.
As soon as Hall received the news, she headed to the exit ramp, determined to bring her to safety at last.
When she reached the location, she was moved to see Miracle curled up in her usual place.
The rescuer didn’t want to scare the dog so she made her way toward her, trying to avoid the cars that were zooming around them.
“It was so dangerous for her and for me. I literally had to dodge cars to get to where she was at with my big trap. I was so scared, but I knew she was, too. I knew, one wrong move, and it wouldn’t be safe for either of us,” Hall wrote in a Facebook post.
The big-hearted rescuer set her trap near the bushes and observed the doggo from a distance.
The Doggo Is Finally Safe
Miracle couldn’t resist the yummy treats so she entered the crate.
When Hall returned and found the sweet girl in the trap, she couldn’t hold back her tears. She was overjoyed that the doggo was finally safe.
The dog still felt scared and she didn’t realize what was going on.
Hall comforted Miracle and took her out of the crate. The doggo’s eyes shone with hope as she looked at her hero.
The rescuer carried her to her car and drove her straight to the vet.
The dog was given a full medical checkup, and luckily, she was in good health. Hall’s friend, Jeanette, offered to foster her.
The doggo felt relieved when she moved in with her foster mom. Miracle could finally sleep soundly, knowing that she was away from the dangerous road.
While the lovely girl is still looking for her forever family, she enjoys her new life with her foster mom.
I hope Miracle finds her happily ever after. She truly deserves it.
