The Internet is filled with many amazing dog stories. Some of them are hilarious, others are very educational, but my favorite ones are usually the rescue stories.
There is just something so heartwarming about knowing that a struggling dog has found his happily ever after and changed his family’s lives forever.
Those are the best. For these dogs that we will be talking about, life was not going great, but they were able to overcome their problems and now finally have a second chance.
Khaleesi’s Story
When Khaleesi was first saved by her rescuers from Mutty Paws Rescue in Florida, she couldn’t even stand up. She was severely malnourished and it had clearly affected her a lot.
Her rescuers thought that it would be best for her to spend some time in a foster home where someone could take care of her around the clock and make sure she recovered.
She would do daily walking therapy and her foster parents would keep her on a strict diet to make sure she gains weight in a healthy way.
Nobody was sure if she would fully recover and learn how to walk properly, but they were not going to give up.
With time, love, and care, Khaleesi has made incredible progress and is completely unrecognizable now, which is all thanks to her amazing rescuers.
She became really bonded with the other dog in the house and her foster parents just knew that they couldn’t let her go. She was adopted soon after and is now enjoying her life with the best people she ever met.
Magnolia’s Story
When Magnolia’s rescuers first interacted with her, they noted that she was very scared and would bark at pretty much everyone she met.
This was not great, as it meant that her chances of finding a home would be drastically reduced if she didn’t recover.
So, a kind rescuer would slowly try to warm up to her. Although it would take time, Magnolia made incredible progress with her rescuer.
With time, she began to see her rescuer as her first true friend, and seeing their bond was truly heartwarming.
Now that she was finally doing better, it meant that she was ready to find somebody special who would take her to her forever home.
She was able to interact more with other people and this was a huge sign that she was ready to meet her new family. Magnolia got an adoption application online and she was already on her way to meet her new parents.
They were absolutely thrilled to see her and the three of them bonded immediately. Magnolia was the perfect fit for her new family and I am so glad to see that she is so happy with them.
Oswald’s Story
It can be said that all of these dogs have suffered through a lot in their lives, but Oswald got the worst of it. His rescuers found him dumped in the trash.
He was in horrible condition and couldn’t even move. When he finally gathered some strength to eat and drink, the kind people from the Animal Pad in California saw just how depressed he was.
It was like he had been rejected by everybody and didn’t know what could possibly happen next. But, that didn’t matter now. His rescuers would do everything they could to give him a new chance.
They soon found out that his leg was broken, so he would probably need some time to heal. He was moved into an amazing foster home where he was given a chance to recover.
After a while, they realized that his leg wasn’t going to heal, so they had to amputate it. Despite this, Oswald’s spirit didn’t waver at all.
With time, he grew more hopeful and realized that he loved his new family. They loved him so much and they came to the great idea that they should adopt him.
Now, he is so happy, and all of that is thanks to the amazing people who gave him this opportunity.
Even though all three of these dogs have been through a lot, these hopeful stories show us just how much dogs can adapt and change for the better.
They simply need someone kind and patient to give them the chance. I am happy to see all of these dogs are now living their best lives.
