Friendship is a simple concept in the world of dogs: You show kindness to me, and I’ll show double kindness to you.
Bach, a stray dog living on his street, was well aware of this. He and his best friend, a white, female pooch, cherished their friendship so much that they practically never separated.
This bonded duo always appeared together, begging people for food while never letting go of each other.
That was until one day when everything changed.
They Visited The Shop Every Day
Bach and his friend were quite popular in their neighborhood. They were known as a bonded duo that never showed up without each other, which was truly heartwarming.
However, they captured the heart of one man in particular – the owner of a local roast duck shop. This kind man fed the two on several occasions, and soon, it turned into a daily routine.
Bach and his female pooch friend regularly received a bag of fried duck in front of the shop, which they shared. This daily portion of food was their favorite treat, and they never missed it.
However, one day, something changed.
Instead of both of them, Bach appeared alone. His furry white companion was missing.
Although confused by the sight, the man still offered Bach a bag of food. But, rather than eating it, this tiny boi frantically ran off in the distance, as if he were in a hurry.
So, the man decided to follow him.
Where Did He Go
After quite a long “espionage trip” that left the man even more confused, Bach finally stopped next to a large pile of leaves near some bushes. As soon as he dropped the bag of food there, the man came to a shocking realization!
Right there on the pile was his loyal friend – who had just given birth to a puppy!
Bach wasn’t only a good friend to her but to her baby as well. He had literally crossed the distance just to bring her food so she could nurse her little one.
This truly heartwarming scene left the man speechless. He was so proud of Bach, yet at the same time, he wanted to help this little family.
After showering the momma with kind words, he slowly scooped up the newborn pup and took it home to provide a safe shelter. Sadly, the female pooch remained distrustful and on the defensive, hiding from her caregiver.
She spent a couple of days on the streets with Bach, hiding under cars and waiting for the man to bring her pup for nursing.
A few meetings later, she gradually began to trust the man. She realized he was a friend and eventually surrendered completely. And, that could only lead to the greatest news ever!
Safe In A New Home
The mama and her puppy found a forever home next to their savior. What initially started as a feeding mission evolved into an unbreakable bond, and now both the mom and her baby crawled into the man’s heart.
The two acclimated to their new environment quickly. They loved their new home and felt safe for the first time ever, far from the danger and uncertainty that had constantly awaited them on the street.
As he grew bigger, the pup finally displayed his energetic spirit. Needless to say, he became the center of attention and the main entertainer in the household.
The momma, on the other hand, still saw Bach every day. He continued to live in front of the shop, refusing to be a family dog for some reason, yet always staying close to his beloved human.
Bach, too, couldn’t have been more thrilled to see his furry friend again. Even though she now had a nice home, their friendship never faded. In fact, it became stronger than ever!
