I am pretty sure that by now, everybody knows that dogs love hoomans.
They are incredibly social beings who love being surrounded by fun and loving friends. Unfortunately, not every pup can have such a happy life.
Many of them are forced to live out their days in the cold and scary streets, living off of scraps they find in the trash. All they do is dream of having a good life with a loving family.
Luckily, the world is full of good people who dedicate their lives to saving such animals. Today’s story is dedicated to one such hooman.
Please Save Me
After he was informed that somebody had dumped a helpless puppy on the street the night before, a kindhearted rescuer dropped everything he was doing and headed down to the location.
Since it was quite cold in his town, the rescuer was worried for the pup’s well-being. When he arrived, he noticed the pup curled up in a ball and barely moving.
The rescuer stopped for a second thinking that he was too late. But when he got a bit closer, he noticed the pup slowly opening his eyes. Not wanting to waste a single second, the rescuer picked up the pup, brought him to his car, and drove him to the nearest vet.
The entire ride there, the hooman kept talking to the pup in a gentle voice, reassuring him that he was going to be okay.
As soon as he heard the kind words, the puppy started feeling better. After deciding to take a little break, the hooman stopped at a park in order to give the pup a yummy meal.
Since he was absolutely starving, the pup licked the bowl clean in no time!
After filling up his little belly, it was time to hit the road again.
One Step At A Time
However, the rescuer had to make yet another pit stop as he was informed that another little puppy needed to pay a visit to the vet.
The rescuer was overjoyed at this news because he knew that the two furry friends could have a little play date while they waited for their appointment.
And that’s exactly what happened.
The two friends immediately clicked and had the most fun little playdate ever!
When it was time for a checkup, both pups made their way into the vet’s office where they were determined to be two healthy pups!
When they were done with the vet, it was time to go home since this little boy desperately needed a bath. And he got one as soon as they stepped foot inside.
When he was nice, clean, and dry, the pup was able to continue playing with his new furry friend.
Since both of them were so young, this time, the playdate didn’t last too long because they got really tired. But not to worry – after they were done cuddling and napping, they went right back at it!
I am sure that being such happy pups, both of these fur babies will be able to find forever homes for themselves.
