As a pup who used to be a stray, Bernie has learned to appreciate everything he is given now that he has an amazing new owner.

Not too long ago, he and his family moved to a new neighborhood in Connecticut and something interesting happened during Bernie’s walk.
He found a bagel in a bush that was covered in ants. His owner was scared, so she pried it out of his mouth. Who knows how long it was there? Bernie could get serious stomach trouble if he had eaten it.
However, this did not make Bernie very happy. From now on, he made his mom walk past that same area all the time in hopes that he would find a bagel in the bush.
He would always check the same spot, but there was nothing there. His mom posted this journey on TikTok and the viewers had many opinions on how she should have handled the situation.
Bernie’s mom knew that the pup always felt sad when he walked past his favorite area in the neighborhood without finding a bagel.
A Very Good Plan
So, she listened to the advice on TikTok and started forging a plan. She went to the store and bought a bagel that she hid from Bernie.
Before a walk, she placed it in the exact same spot where he found a bagel the last time. Then, she immediately took him for a walk.
She noticed that there was a look of hope on Bernie’s face. He was still hoping to find it. Luckily, this would be that day.
His mom took him for a walk and they were finally at the bagel spot. Bernie immediately noticed the bagel waiting for him in the bush and he rushed to take it.
The excitement he felt after finding the bagel was just incredible. His mom was so happy to see how such a small thing made him so happy.
Bernie didn’t eat the bagel right away. He waited until they got home before he started eating it. After enjoying the very delicious bagel, he decided to take a nap, knowing that his dream had come true.
This made his mom and all of Bernie’s followers so happy. He finally got his wish. It’s heartwarming to see how so many people united for such a simple thing. Bernie is a really special pup.
