Caring Deaf Pittie Took On The Motherly Role When Her Owners Brought In Orphaned Baby Goat

Many people perceive that different animals are constantly fighting with each other. While this is true to some extent, especially in certain situations, it is far from the universal truth of the animal world.

When it comes to dogs, Pit Bulls are particularly affected by such stereotypes. People believe this breed is too dangerous, deeming them unadoptable. As a result, countless Pitties suffer in shelters, especially those with special needs.

Nevertheless, thanks to individuals who reject these stereotypes, there are numerous examples showing that these dogs are among the most compassionate beings in our often cold world.

One such example is a deaf Pit Bull from Pearce, Arizona, named Evie.

Her True Life Purpose

Evie lives on a farm with her parents, Allison Thomison and her husband. They adopted her a few years ago while actively fostering for Valley of The Sun Dog, a rescue organization located in Mesa, Arizona.

Not long after, they moved to a farm and acquired many animals, including goats, cows, and dogs. Among those dogs, there were many puppies, and with them, Evie demonstrated how much she loved little babies.

She took care of almost every puppy and she treated them almost like she was their mother, sometimes even better. However, there came a period when there were no more babies to care for, so Evie lost her role on the farm.

That was until Allison and her husband brought an orphaned baby goat. They hoped that at least one of so many animals would take care of the little goat and they believed in Evie the most.

Although she was an entirely different animal and deaf, Evie again did not disappoint and showed all her maternal talent in full glory

She was always with her little goat, who they named Branch, and he was most relaxed when he was with her.

Their heartwarming relationship can best be seen in a TikTok video Allison posted via her account, @farmofmilkandhoney.

“Dis My Baby Now”

When Allison shared the video of the cute interaction between her deaf dog and a new baby goat, she knew that it would attract attention. However, she could not have guessed that it would be to this extent.

There were many reactions and we highlighted some of the comments.

“Evie said ‘dis my baby now’🥰,” one user wrote.

“she’s not the stepmom she’s the mom that stepped up,” popular @weratedogs joked.

The third user wrote: “The original nanny dog! Pitty love knows no bounds!!🥲”

Although this video in itself is quite heartwarming, the most important is the message it carries — the belief that animals have no love for other species is just a stereotype and this deaf Pittie is a living example.
