Aside from food and shelter, one thing that can make life difficult for any stray pup is other animals who are also competing for the same thing on the street.
In a different environment, dogs, cats, and other animals would thrive together, but because they were left in such cruel conditions, they are forced to do whatever they can to survive.
As a result, accidents sometimes happen. Dogs get into fights with one another and it’s often a terrifying thing.
It’s basically what happened to this pup who was just trying to survive when four dogs attacked her. Luckily for her, a couple from California broke up the fight and saved her.
Is She Going To Be Okay?

As they were driving to a small village, Nick Reilly and Alli Jaeger met a sweet dog named Ola when they arrived.
She looked curious, so she followed them around a lot. Ola even got to meet Nick and Alli’s dog, Timmy, who was very friendly to this stray pup.
That night, Ola wanted to stay nearby, so she curled up underneath their van, but something horrible happened. She was attacked by four dogs.
This alarmed Nick and Alli, who immediately got outside their van to help Ola, and luckily, they were able to fend them off.

Ola was so terrified that she didn’t want to be away from her kind rescuers. They let her inside the van where she slept the entire night. It was the only place where she felt safe.
Considering that Alli and Nick were traveling, they were hoping to drop off Ola someplace safe and be on their way, but there was just one issue: she didn’t want to leave.
When they opened the door, she wouldn’t budge. They felt horrible to see how scared she was at that moment, but it was difficult for them, too.
They were all in a small van and they already had one dog inside, but they couldn’t accept the fact that she might end up in a similar situation soon, so they took her in for a while.
Ola Is A Big Inspiration

The couple from California took her to a veterinarian who did a thorough examination. Her ear was injured and she had an infection. One of her legs was hurt, but it was nothing serious.
They got her fixed and vaccinated, and now the pup will stay with them for a while. Unexpectedly, Ola stayed with this couple for six months as they traveled.
This pup had transformed completely after their first meeting and they were so happy that they had a positive influence on her.
Shortly after they went back home, the couple wanted to do what was best for Ola by finding a forever home for her. They weren’t sure how it was going to go, but they tried their best.

Eventually, they were able to find an amazing family for her and she now gets to live a peaceful life with someone special. She no longer has to be afraid of anything.
Alli and Nick were so happy to have her for those six months. After their senior pup, Timmy, crossed the rainbow bridge, this rescue journey inspired them to do more.
Now, anytime they travel and run into street dogs who need help, they will do their absolute best to give them a chance at a better life.
It’s so heartwarming to see how one dog inspired these people to rescue dogs and change people’s lives. Dogs really are special.
