Working at a doggy daycare can be considered one of the best jobs on the planet.
I mean, think about it, you are surrounded by adorable puppies the entire day who just want to have fun, get their bellies rubbed, and their heads patted. When I think about it, this can’t even be considered a job, it’s heaven on earth!
However, not everybody enjoys it that much. Some dogs who have a more timid personality tend to feel overwhelmed here with all the loud and energetic pups, and I can’t blame them at all to be honest.
It really can get too much.
Social Battery Is Low!
Spending time at Pups at Play, in Montclair, New Jersey became a common occurrence with two furry siblings, Theo and Mia.
Even though Theo absolutely loves every second of it, Mia isn’t a big fan of the loud environment. So, during their stay the other day, she decided not to compete with other pups for head parts and settled in the corner of the New Jersey shelter.
Seeing his sister hiding in the corner didn’t really sit right with Theo, so he decided to figure out a way to include her in the fun.
After finding the closest caretaker, he gently grabbed his arm and dragged him over to his sister, demanding that she get some sweet loving too.
Seeing just how much Theo cared for his sister almost brought the New Jersey worker to tears.
“This may be the cutest thing you’ll see all day. Gotta go compose myself from crying brb,” the video wrote.
No Pup Left Behind
The second Theo and Mia’s owner, Jessie, saw how caring his pup was, he couldn’t help but feel immense pride.
“We were amazed at the fact that Theo led the caretaker to Mia. Sometimes he’ll gently grab you by the arm when you’re playing, but never have we seen him lead anyone anywhere, let alone to Mia to get some loving. It was the sweetest thing,” Jesse told The Dodo.
Because Mia is a 12-year-old dog, she no longer has the energy and loud personality that she had when she was a puppy. Nevertheless, she still enjoys seeing how happy and playful her brother Theo gets.
Because the video was so cute, it came as no surprise when it went absolutely viral. People from all over the world gathered in the comment section to express their thoughts on this adorable situation. Spooner alert: they absolutely loved it!
“Some people were concerned that Theo sensed something wrong with Mia, but we know that is natural behavior for her in her old age. All in all, it truly has been so nice to see our pups bring joy to people on the internet as they do every day to us at home!” Jesse concluded.
