After 420 Days Of Sleeping On A Floor, This Shelter Dog Finally Gets His Own Bed

After 420 Days Of Sleeping On A Floor, This Shelter Dog Finally Gets His Own Bed

Just like all shelter dogs, Ace dreamed of meeting his humans and finding unconditional love.

He kept waiting for someone to give him a chance, but unfortunately, potential visitors passed him by.

After spending more than 420 days at Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption & Protection Center in Florida, the four-year-old dog started losing hope that he would ever find a home.

Little did he know that his luck would soon change.

Experiencing The Sweet Life

When Hurricane Milton made landfall on October 9th, 2024, the shelter asked the community members to foster the shelter residents for a few days in order to keep them safe.

Gabrielle Brudner and her family decided to step up and head to the shelter.

The Brudner family felt heartbroken when they saw Ace lying on a thin blanket on a hard floor. Resting on a hard surface for a long time was so uncomfortable that the dog developed sores.

The big-hearted family decided to foster him and give him the best time of his life.

When Ace realized that he was leaving the shelter, he couldn’t contain his excitement. He kept jumping with joy.

The doggo was happy to be away from the shelter noise.

Ace soaked up his foster family’s love and he quickly stole their hearts.

Gabrielle got extremely attached to the dog and hoped that he would soon find a home that he deserved.

After spending a few days with his temporary fosters, Ace moved to another foster home.

Gabrielle missed him.

When she found out that his new foster wasn’t a good fit, she felt incredibly sad. She couldn’t stop thinking about the sweet dog.

Upon returning to the Miami shelter, Ace was enrolled in a two-week training and obedience program.

Ace’s Life Changes Forever

Gabrielle wasn’t the only one who fell in love with Ace. Her family loved him, too.

Realizing that they missed seeing the doggo’s sweet face every day, the Brudner family decided to adopt him.

When Gabrielle’s dad told her the news, she was over the moon.

As soon as Ace completed his training program, his new family picked him up and took him home. The doggo’s heart soared with happiness.

In order to make sure that the doggo felt comfortable in his new home, his forever family bought him a bed and a soft blanket with his name engraved on it.

Ace was thrilled. He sprawled out on his new bed with a smile on his face. He was savoring his moment of comfort and happiness.

Gabrielle shared the clip of his adorable reaction to his bed on TikTok. People were delighted with Ace.

He was happy because he could finally enjoy the warmth and comfort of a home.

From a lonely shelter dog who was lying on a floor and watching people pass him by, Ace turned into a happy dog who lived in luxury.

Thank you to Gabrielle Brudner and her family for making Ace’s dream come true.
