This is exactly what happened to a construction crew in New York. They were just doing their job when one of the workers was shocked to find three small kittens abandoned there.
How Did They End Up There?
After finding the kittens, one of the workers figured it was best to call the professionals to help them with this matter, so he called Animal Haven.
The rescuers received the news and acted fast. They were on the construction site in no time, and the workers there led them to the furry babies.
They were shocked to see that these kittens were lying near a laundry exhaust vent. They were extremely vulnerable, so the rescuers didn’t waste any time.
They took all of the kittens and drove them back to Animal Haven in New York. All of the furry babies received a flea bath and a good meal.
The next step was an examination. The veterinarians were thorough, and they found that these small kittens didn’t have any serious health problems.
As things stood, everything was going smoothly with the kittens. The quick reaction from the construction workers and the rescuers likely saved them.
A Quick Reaction From Rescuers
It’s really hard to tell how long these kittens would have been able to hold on without help. They are lucky things turned out the way they did.
Knowing this, they transferred them to a foster home where they would stay until the rescuers found a new family for them.
The foster parents took care of all the kittens, and they were doing great. Animal Haven rescuers were so happy to see that they were making progress.
As they are slowly getting bigger, they are starting to learn more about their surroundings, and they are getting used to living a normal life.
This was wonderful news to everyone, as it can only mean that these three kittens will be eligible for adoption very soon. They just need a little more time.
