Lacey MacFarlane from North Carolina knows this all too well. Having her two Goldies, Cooper and Tucker, by her side is a priceless experience that sometimes comes with a bit of a mystery, and this was exactly one of those times!
One morning, Lacey woke up only to find Cooper wearing his brother’s vet cone. Just when she thought this was a one-time thing, Cooper surprised her again!
Mystery Solved, Thanks To Camera
“How in the world” this happened was Lacey’s first thought when she woke up and saw Cooper in Tucker’s cone. Did he accidentally take it off his brother? Or did she mistakenly put it on the wrong dog?
Lacey put this dilemma to rest and went to work. But, when she returned home, she found the same culprit in the exact same situation!
This time, she decided to rewatch the pet cam and solve the mystery once and for all.
“Cooper’s adventures! Had to rewatch and see how he got the cone off his brothers head and onto his own… he did this twice,” Lacey wrote in the video.
It didn’t take long for the North Carolina owner to get all the facts straight. The pet cam revealed that around midnight, Tucker’s vet cone had magically disappeared.
And, guess who got the credit? Cooper, of course!
This hilarious Golden Retriever was caught on camera playing with his brother’s cone until he eventually removed it from Tucker’s neck. Once the cone was ‘free,’ Cooper continued to ‘explore’ it.
Then, something even funnier happened.
Within just a few minutes, Cooper somehow got stuck in the cone. He panicked for the first few moments, trying to take it off, but he eventually made peace with his look. Hence, the cone on his neck!
Lacey, who initially told her friends about Cooper’s ordeal, decided to share the footage with her TikTok followers. In no time, the video went viral, and the comments began pouring in.
“Omg the fact that you have evidence of this is iconic,” one TikTok user wrote.
“I would have gaslit myself into thinking I put the cone on the wrong dog lol,” another joked.
“What did we do before cameras? This would have been an unsolvable mystery haha,” the third added.
One thing is for sure: if it weren’t for the camera, Lacey would still be resolving this mystery… probably unsuccessfully, though.
Furry Partners In Crime
All jokes aside, Cooper and Tucker are the perfect duo, and their mom knows it.
They do every single thing together: they eat, sleep, go on walkies, and take exciting adventures – as the loving brothers they are.
Sure, there are occasional ‘incidents,’ like the vet cone mishap, but that’s all part of their relationship. After all, all brothers enjoy a bit of teasing, don’t they?
