Missouri Passerby Spots Strange Movement In Trash Pile And Discovers Furry Creatures Huddled Together

It was a cold winter day in rural Missouri when a passerby noticed something rather unusual: a strange, consistent movement in a pile of trash.

When the passerby looked closer, they came to a shocking conclusion. There were actual living beings huddled together right in the trash. Three helpless pups with no shelter and food struggled to survive…

Heartbreaking Sight

The person who found the pups immediately sprang into action. Instead of wasting time, they posted a photo of the dogs on social media and tagged the local organization, Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

Over the following hours, the rescue team responded.

When they arrived to pick up the dogs, the rescuers were truly devastated by their condition. They had no shelter to hide in, no food to eat, and they were absolutely terrified of everything.

“These little 4-5 month old pups have been living here. Outside, no shelter from the elements, among a pile of garbage. They are dirty, hungry, tired, and scared. But not for long,” the Missouri rescue wrote in a Facebook post.

They safely admitted all three pups into the facility. After the initial exam, the team provided the pups with a warm meal and care.

Needless to say, this furry family immediately felt better. They craved human attention and love for so long, and now they had it all.

It was fascinating how the entire doggo family immediately warmed up to humans. With no previous socialization training or experience, they were natural – and they immediately stole the hearts of everyone.

The pups, later named Fiddle, Banjo, and Harmonica, were matched with amazing fosters. Each of them got a nice, cozy home where they could learn all about family life.

They were placed far from the shelter crowds in order to decompress and start a new life.

Soon enough, Fiddle, one of the pups, found a forever home.

Waiting For The Perfect Home

Harmonica and Banjo are still waiting for their chance at happiness. Harmonica is still a puppy who loves to meet new people and dogs. She’s a social butterfly who craves company, which is why she would be perfect for a family with dogs.

“She’s a 4 month old baby girl who loves to play with other dogs. If you have a happy, social pup who would like a playmate, then this would be ideal for you! She likes to cuddle too, and is just so happy and grateful to finally be getting this chance,” SRSL wrote.

Banjo, on the other hand, is eager to please and food motivated. He also loves people and dogs and is very fond of cats, too. Banjo is crate trained already, which makes him ideal for indoor life.

He’s a snuggler and loves spending time in the house, but also makes a great companion for outdoor activities. According to his foster, he’s an absolute delight to have!

“Meet Banjo! Banjo has been an absolute delight as a foster. He is a smart cookie and would love to work on training,” his description reads.

Even though both Harmonica and Banjo are far from feeling overlooked, there’s no doubt the two would love nothing more than to have a permanent home

After everything they had been through, it’s finally their time to shine. They truly deserve it!
