An injured puppy was all alone in the woods enduring pain.
He desperately wished to wake up from his nightmare and curl up next to his mom. The pup knew that she would ease his pain and protect him from the dangers of the woods.
Sadly, he was separated from his beloved mother.
Despite the desperate situation he was in, the pooch refused to give up on himself and began screaming for help as loud as he could.
He hoped that someone would hear his cries for help and lend him a helping hand.
The Pup’s Cries For Help
A dog rescuer who was feeding stray dogs at a nearby garbage dump heard the puppy’s crying.
After the woman realized which direction the cries for help were coming from, she followed the source of the sounds and walked into the forest.
Her heart was overwhelmed with sorrow when she spotted the pup, later named Forest, crying inconsolably.
The rescuer noticed that he sustained injuries. Due to the pain he felt, Forest couldn’t put weight on his left paw.
She wanted to scoop the puppy up and capture him, but he was too scared of her. He didn’t let her approach him.
The kind rescuer talked to him and managed to gain his trust. She was relieved when she finally took Forest in her arms and drove him to a hospital.
The vet gave him a complete medical checkup. Forest had a bite wound on his left shoulder and bone fractures.
After the vet cleaned his wound and prescribed him the necessary treatment, the rescuer took him home and fostered him.
Forest’s Path To Happiness
She fed him and cared for him with a lot of love.
The pooch breathed a sense of relief because a lovely human was by his side.
The next day, Forest tried walking on the floor but he still felt pain and started crying.
Fortunately, a few days later, his treatment began working. Forest felt better and he calmed down.
His foster mom cuddled him and gave him all her love. The pup felt safe and adored.
As time passed, Forest’s health condition improved and his affectionate personality emerged.
He got attached to his foster mom. He planted many little kisses on her face, wishing to thank her for everything.
Twelve days after he was rescued, Forest started a new chapter in his life. A great family adopted him and gave him all their unconditional love.
When he moved in with his humans, Forest was the happiest pup. He finally had a place to call home. He knew that he would never feel lonely and desperate again.
