There are so many poor animals in horrible conditions left to fend for themselves on the cold and harsh streets.
What is even more heartbreaking is the fact that most people do not even want to look at them, let alone help them and save their lives.
Fortunately, there are always exceptions in the form of kind souls who are willing to stop their cars and even risk injury to save an animal in need, left by the side of the road.
One woman who decided to save a dog despite almost being bitten is the perfect example. She was determined to make his future brighter, as she saw love and hope in his sad and terrified eyes.
Poor Little Soul
When this big-hearted woman was driving with her sister in the car, it was a dark night. Despite that, at one moment, the sister spotted a puppy on the road.
They immediately stopped the car and followed him to the side of the road. The poor little soul had nowhere else to go, and since he was terrified of people, he started barking in a panic and even tried to bite them.
Although the dog was scared and agitated, this good soul saw love and hope in his eyes and that motivated her to do everything to help him. She gently approached him and was able to wrap him in a soft towel.
The poor little one finally calmed down a bit and stopped fighting back. Instead, he started crying in his savior’s arms as she showered him with tender caresses and soothing words.
As soon as he felt safe enough, this woman transferred him to the car and they were on their way to the veterinary clinic for an examination.
There, the X-rays showed that one of his legs was somehow broken. They assumed that he was hit by a car and that the driver obviously did not want to help him and just continued on his way.
This woman was sad and angry because of that realization, but that only motivated her to do everything to make this dog’s future bright.
Enjoying His New Life
Fortunately, aside from a broken leg, this dog wasn’t suffering from any bigger health issues. The doctors did everything to help him recover from his injury and he was soon ready to go to his new home.
Yes, you heard it right — this woman decided to adopt him and give him a new name, Bingo. Already on the way to his new home, Bingo felt better as if he knew that his happier life had just begun.
After a few days, all his fears disappeared and he became the friendliest dog in the world. He constantly ran around people, never stopped wagging his tail, and did not remove the smile from his face.
Of course, he loved his mom and enjoyed her embrace the most. However, Bingo also established a deep connection with other family members, especially with her children, but also with other animals, as well as with neighbors who adored him.
With his cheerful personality, he brightened up his new home and the whole neighborhood as well. These people were truly happy that he came into their lives, especially his mom who saved him in the first place.
If she had just kept driving like so many other people, who knows if this dog would have ever come out of that dark night and light up their lives forever.
