When a dedicated rescue organization received information about two Pitbull siblings who were being mistreated by their owners, they made sure to contact them and tell them why what they were doing was wrong.
Hoping that they would finally change their ways, the organization allowed the owner to keep the pups but decided to keep an eye out just in case. Checking in on the duo a couple of months later, the rescuers realized that not much had changed.
No matter how many fines or warnings they gave them, the owners seemed not to care. That is why, the rescue organization decided to take matters into their own hands.
You Are Safe Now, Little Ones
Teaming up with the municipal guard, the rescuers headed to the owner’s house, determined to put an end to all the suffering and abuse the pups went through.
When the team arrived at the location, they were utterly heartbroken. The pups were lying on the ground in utter defeat, so weak to even move a muscle let alone stand up on their paws.
Their bodies were dirty and completely covered in painful sores and would. One pup even had a swollen head which needed an immediate medical checkup!
It was also evident that the pups hadn’t eaten a single bite in a very long time. So it came as no surprise that the pups ate every single crumb from the treats they were given by the kind hoomans.
But, what surprised them the most was just how friendly they were even after they were subjected to such injustices by their owner. They were so happy to finally feel love and kindness that they were able to forget about the pain in the moment.
After dealing with the owner, the rescue team was able to place the siblings in their vehicles and immediately rush them to the vet.
The Worst Is Behind You
At the clinic, the medical team rushed the pup with a swollen head, now named Odin, to the emergency room. After a head-to-tail medical evaluation, they determined that his ear was so infected that it was causing his head to swell up.
The vets managed to clean out the infection and carefully remove all the built-up dirt and pus. Odin was finally able to relax and decompress for a bit.
Luckily, his sibling’s situation was a bit better, but he still needed some medication to get to feeling better. But he, named Aslan, stayed by his brother’s side, encouraging him to keep fighting and never give up.
Apart from all their medications, the duo was also put on a specific diet designed to help restore their strength.
Thankfully, they absolutely loved their meals and would clean every single plate they were given.
Spending just a couple of days in the clinic surrounded by people who showed them love and respect managed to help the siblings feel better.
Two months after their rescue, both pups went through incredible transformations and were completely unrecognizable.
They became as happy and healthy as could be and were looking forward to their new life. now, all that is left to do is find a loving family that will continue to provide these pups with the life they deserve all along.
And, I am pawsitive that they will find one in no time!
