Dogs love going to the daycare. It’s a place where they can socialize with other dogs and engage in many fun activities organized by the staff.
It’s always a fun time for them, and it allows owners to go on about their lives without having to constantly worry if their dog is doing okay.
Some daycares like to report on the dog’s behavior to owners, to let them know if the pup is socializing enough or if he is sad.
Maddox is a great example of this. His owners received a report card from the daycare in Florida about his behavior, so his dad decided to read it in front of him to see his reaction.
He Is So Proud Of Himself
Maddox simply stood in front of his dad and waited for him to start reading.
He knew that he was a good boy so there was nothing he had to be afraid of. In the report, the staff described Maddox as being very friendly and they also said that he felt at home there.
He enjoyed activities such as sunbathing and playing in the water park. Maddox also loved receiving belly rubs and being held by the workers there. He’s such a cuddle bug.
Maddox tends to scarf down his food, which isn’t that unusual really. He is described as the “wild child,” but he always gets along with the other dogs there.
When the pup heard this, he got closer to his dad because he wanted some praise for being such a good boy. So, his dad gave him some pets and acknowledged just how sweet he is.
In the end, the note said: “Maddox did great as always. He enjoyed splashing around at the water park with his friends. Can’t wait to see him back soon!”
Maddox let out a small noise in approval. His parents were incredibly happy that he was having so much fun in the daycare in Florida.
Maddox Is Such A Good Boy
Even though the daycare gives out reports to owners all the time, they rarely, if ever, record moments like this. So, Maddox’s parents decided to post his reaction on TikTok.
It should come as no surprise that this short clip drew a lot of people in and made their day. So, naturally, they decided to share their thoughts.
One person commented: “He’s a good boy with an official paper to prove it.”
If there is ever a doubt about that being untrue, then Maddox can simply point at his report card to prove to everyone that he is still a good boy.
Another person said: “I love the positive reinforcement hehehe, the pets after reading each positive thing.”
I am sure that Maddox is very happy that his parents gave him this opportunity to acknowledge his good behavior. This is something that all dog owners should do.
Lastly, somebody commented: “This is the SWEETEST thing ever. He definitely deserves a treat for that report card.”
And I have no doubt that he is getting them all the time, because he has such amazing parents who are giving him the absolute best care.
It’s always wholesome to see our dog’s happiness when they receive a compliment. It costs nothing, but it makes their entire day that much better and it’s something that we need to do more often.
