Dalmatian dogs are awesome. I mean, is there a more unique breed than this one? There is just something so special about them and they look really adorable.
If I ever chose a dog to adopt, it would be a dalmatian. When Dino’s mom first adopted him, I am sure she thought the same thing as I did.
However, what she didn’t know at the time was that her dalmatian dog, Dino, was very unique in one regard, and it was something that really surprised her.
He Has What?!
Early on in his life, Dino was just a regular dalmatian dog. Nobody even suspected that something was unusual about him.
However, as time went on, his mom noticed something strange. He was a lot smaller than he should be. It looked like he wasn’t growing at all.
She would only later find out that Dino actually had dwarfism and there was no way he would continue growing.
Despite this, he is a very happy and healthy dog who really likes chicken and prefers to spend most of his time with his sister, Ruby.
It should come as no surprise that Dino attracts a lot of attention during walks, primarily because of his size. However, that is not something that ever bothered him.
Sometimes, some kids who see him regularly like to call him “Marshall”, because he reminds them of a character from PAW Patrol.
Surprised Reactions
When Dino’s mom first uploaded the video about his dwarfism, it should come as no surprise that many people had differing opinions on this matter.
One person commented: “Is it just me that immediately thought of a sausage dog and Dalmatian mixed, lol. It’s cute though.”
Well, I will admit, there is some similarity now that I think about it more, but I am not sure if that applies to this sweet dog.
Another person asked: “Does that mean Dachshunds all have the dwarfism gene and it’s just a part of their breed? Or are these two separate issues?”
The owner replied by saying that Corgis and Dachshunds do have the dwarfism gene called chondrodysplasia, but Dino is special because he was the only one of his siblings to end up with dwarfism.
Lastly, somebody commented: “That is just a Dalmatian hound. I have a German shepherd hound and he looks the exact same as him.”
Well, it doesn’t seem like the theories will stop with this one. People are still continuously sharing their theories on this dog, even though it’s not really necessary.
Nevertheless, Dino’s mom appreciates all the comments and is happy that her dog received this much attention.
Despite his small size, he is still a very special dog who continues to amaze many people around him and I am really happy to see that Dino has such an amazing family by his side.
