Dogs exist so that we can give them all our affection and make them happy. Seeing them smiling and wagging their tails brings joy to our souls.
My heart breaks for all the dogs who have never had the chance to experience the true love that they deserve.
Chihu wanted to be loved, too, but sadly he was met with mistreatment and abuse instead.
One day, this pup got badly injured and started crying with pain. He hoped that his owner would help him, but they refused to take him to the vet.
Just when was about to lose hope of being rescued, a neighbor jumped in to help him.
The Injured Dog Finally Gets Help
The kind lady was brokenhearted to see Chihu’s condition.
His legs were stiff and he was unable to walk. She rushed him to the hospital.
The owner insisted that Chihu fell down the stairs.
However, nobody believed them because they didn’t take the dog to the vet and they wanted him to be euthanized.
Upon reaching the hospital, the vet team gave Chihu a full examination. An X-ray showed that Chihu’s femur was broken and that he would need to undergo surgery.
In order to ease his pain, the pup was given painkillers.
Chihu sobbed and he refused to eat or drink.
Both the vet and Chihu’s caregivers offered him comfort, reassuring him that he would get better. They told him that he was now safe and that nobody would ever hurt him again.
The sad pup decided to put his faith in his human friends.
Fortunately, he felt better the next day. His pain subsided and he started eating.
His caregivers rooted for him and they admired his strong will to fight for recovery.
They gave him a lot of TLC and promised to never leave him alone.
Feeling Safe
Chihu sensed that he was in good hands and he felt relieved.
Ten days after he was rescued, the dog began showing his affectionate nature. He kissed one of his caregivers and leaned on his shoulder as if wanted to thank him for his love.
Despite the abuse he endured, Chihu was pure.
After he regained strength, the brave dog underwent a femur fracture repair surgery.
Fortunately, it went well and everyone hoped that Chihu would regain mobility in his legs.
In order to fully recover from the procedure, his caregivers took him to a separate room where Chihu could rest. They took great care of him and fed him with a syringe.
A Complete Recovery
Gradually, Chihu began recovering and he took his first steps at the hospital. His human friends couldn’t contain their emotions at seeing their boi walk.
The resilient pup had a long road to recovery and he continued healing at a loving foster home.
As time passed, Chihu was getting stronger. He enjoyed the warmth and comfort of a home.
Three months after he was rescued from his abusive owner, Chihu made a complete recovery. At last, he was able to run and enjoy his life to the fullest.
The delightful pup was over the moon.
His foster mom promised to continue taking care of him and showering him with love.
Thanks to the big-hearted lady who helped Chihu when he most needed it, he got a new lease on life.
