I wish that all the shelter visitors who kept overlooking Bub because he was shy and anxious knew what a sweetheart he truly is!
Having been abused in the past, Bub was too scared to trust humans and reveal his true personality.
Sadly, since nobody gave this puppy a chance, the shelter placed him on a euthanasia list.
Just when Bub thought his life was over, destiny surprised him with a new beginning and loving owners who wanted to heal his broken heart.
Bub Meets His New Family
A wonderful couple, Ruby and her husband Edger, heard about Bub and visited him at the shelter.
Edger sat next to him in his shelter kennel, trying to win his trust.
The timid pup was lying on the floor and avoided making eye contact. His ears were pulled back. It was apparent that he had lost all hope.
But Ruby and Edgar were determined to give him a new lease on life.
The couple saw in Bub what nobody did – a sweet and precious pup who was worthy of love.
Once he moved in with his new family, the puppy was still unsure and terrified of everything.
His eyes were filled with sorrow.
Due to his fear, Bub hid in a pantry, trying to avoid interacting with his family.
The puppy’s parents spent a lot of time with the pooch, hoping to build trust with him. They treated him affectionately, pampering him with care.
Slowly but surely, Bub started realizing that these humans were different from all the other people that he had met in his life. He noticed that they did everything in their power to make him feel comfortable.
Little by little, he started enjoying his parents’ presence and absorbing their love.
Love Mends His Broken Heart
His family’s affection chased away the fears that held Bub back.
Once he felt safe, he began playing with his doggy sibling and displaying his playful energy. He finally became a real dog who enjoyed his life to the fullest.
The happiness he felt was reflected in his appearance. Bub’s eyes are now shining and his ears are perked up. He looks like an entirely different dog!
Bub’s mom posted a video montage on her TikTok account showing the incredible transformation from a terrified puppy into a confident dog.

Bub now lives the most amazing life with his family. He loves eating and going on walks with his beloved dad.
