Rescuers Found 16 Abandoned Dogs In The California Desert And Hurriedly Rushed To Their Aid

When a fellow rescuer called about 16 dogs cruelly abandoned in the California desert, one man was left stunned.

It was a Saturday, and with Animal Control closed, the rescuer pleaded for help, urging him to come to the scene and save the poor stranded pups. Without a second thought, the man grabbed his supplies and hit the road.

With so many dogs suffering under the scorching desert sun, he quickly pulled together a team of rescuers and set out, determined to give these poor animals the help they desperately needed.

Trying to hide away from the sun, the pups managed to find a shelter in an abandoned home.

And, even though the rescuers tried to win over their trust for some time, most of the pups were extremely skittish. This meant that the team of rescuers had to come up with a good plan in order to save all 16 of them.

The hoomans decided to try and lure the pups, one by one, to a more secluded area where they would be able to pick them up without spooking their furry friends.

Unfortunately, some pups didn’t trust the hoomans at all and would get very mad whenever somebody would approach them.

And, since the rescuers didn’t want them to run off to another area, they decided to set up some traps with delicious treats hiding inside.

As the hours passed, the kennels began filling up, and fewer pups were running around the trash.

The Start Of Something New

Luckily, they managed to secure temporary housing for most of the pups so, when the truck got full, one group took the doggos to their new homes while others stayed behind to try and catch the rest.

Ultimately, the rescue team of The Animal Rescue Center Of California managed to safely catch all 16 pups.

However, they were told that one more pup was running loose in the California desert but they never managed to spot him until the following day…

The clever rescuers decided to put up an extra trap in the same abandoned house the rest of the pups were hiding in. They suspected that the pup might come back looking for his friends… and he did.

Finally, everybody is safe!

Open Your Heart And Adopt

Most of these puppies are now in loving foster homes.

As we all know, foster homes are incredible for stray pups as they are able to relax, decompress, and get used to living in a home.

And, even though this is a good start, they still wish to have a home and a family of their own.

Therefore, if you are able to open up your home to a loving fur baby who will fill your life with nothing but love, happiness, and excitement, feel free to contact The Animal Rescue Center Of California for more information on these sweet babies.

You will not regret it!
