It breaks my heart to think about how many times Jacky felt disappointed and insignificant.
The pup was in a terrible state as he roamed around a rural area, enduring pain and hunger. Jacky was completely naked and his scaly skin looked like stone.
As he stood by a road, the sorrowful canine hoped that someone would finally notice him and lend him a helping hand.
Unfortunately, passers-by ignored his pain without feeling any empathy for his soul, which begged for a little bit of love and care.
Will anyone show Jacky that he, too, deserves love?
Jacky Finally Receives Help
When Selina, a giant-hearted dog rescuer, saw Jacky, she couldn’t believe that he was actually a dog. The pup was desperately trying to scratch his itchy skin on the street.
“I saw this gray-looking thing. I couldn’t really identify what it was. He was just rubbing himself with his head and neck on the street to itch himself,” Selina told The Dodo.
She immediately jumped to his aid.
After Selina approached him and took a better look at his skin, her heart shattered. The good human realized the pain he was in.
She gave him food and Jacky started eating right away.
The kind rescuer set up a crate, thinking that it would be easy to capture the hungry pup.
Since the doggo was a bit distrustful, he refused to enter the crate.
Selina called her friend, a dog catcher, and together, they succeeded in catching Jacky.
The doggo surrendered to his rescuers and put his trust in them. He looked at his heroes through the bars of his crate. His eyes were filled with a mixture of sadness and hope.
Selina rushed Jacky to the clinic where he was given immediate medical attention. Since he was in pretty bad condition, the pup needed to be hospitalized for a while.
Jacky began receiving his treatment.
Happiness At Last
His caregivers pampered him with care and showered him with positive words and encouragement.
Gradually, Jacky started feeling better.
Once the doggo’s skin healed, new strands of fur began appearing on his skin.
The pooch thrived more and more with every passing day.
Thankfully, three months later, he recovered and blossomed into a handsome pup.
Selina managed to find Jacky’s family and help them reconnect. She learned that the dog’s owner lost his job and that his family was going through a difficult period in their life.
Jacky’s owners lived in a rural area and they didn’t have proper education on how to help their dog.
After Selina talked to his family, she realized that they adored Jacky and they wanted to reunite with him.
When the rescuer brought Jacky to meet his family, the doggo rushed to their arms, wagging his tail. He was over the moon to see them.
Selina often visits Jacky and checks up on him.
His family dotes on him and they spoil him with love.
Whenever the canine sees Selina arriving at his home, he always greets her with his eyes twinkling with joy and a beautiful smile on his face.
