Having humans who shower them with love and sweet, endless cuddles is all that pups dream about. It’s what they need in order to feel immense joy in their hearts.
Knowing that there are many heartless owners who dump their dogs and hurt their feelings fills my heart with sorrow.
Instead of giving their canines a lifetime of happiness, these owners break their dogs’ hearts and dump them like they never meant anything to them.
Gizmo was one of the dogs who felt hurt and betrayed after he was dumped in an industrial area.
After his owners denied him their love, he felt rejected and lonely. His beautiful eyes filled with sorrow while he was lying on cold streets. The sweet pup was confused, and he didn’t know what to do.
Good Humans Extend Their Helping Hand
Rafael Ramirez felt sad after he noticed the sad, abandoned dog. He instantly reached out to Hope For Paws, a non-profit organization located in Los Angeles, California. The kind man told the rescuers about the little pup who was in need of help and love.
After receiving the report, the rescuers, Alex Babcock and Katie McKittrick, rushed to collect him. Ramirez stayed with the pooch in order to make sure that he was alright.
Once the rescuers arrived at the scene, McKittrick slowly approached the pup. She stroked him, showing him much-needed kindness and affection, but the doggo kept looking at the ground. The rescuers could tell how sad and betrayed he felt.
They fed the pooch, and he happily ate all the food. McKittrick then placed a leash over his neck and lured him into a crate.
Both Ramirez and the rescuers breathed a sigh of relief. The pup will no longer endure hunger and cold.
The rescuers put Gizmo in the car. The adorable pooch must have sensed that his life would change because he was smiling from ear to ear.
Both McKittrick and Babcock took him to a shelter. They pampered him with care and gave him a lot of love.
It didn’t take long for them to notice that something was wrong with Gizmo. He was agitated. He began barking while spinning in circles and going after his tail.
His rescuers became worried for the pup and they immediately brought him to the vet in order to take X-rays. The vet informed them that a part of Gizmo’s tail was broken.
Gizmo underwent surgery, and his fractured vertebra was removed.
Finding The Happiness That Gizmo Deserves
Much Love Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California, took the sweet pup under their care.
They placed him in a loving foster home where he continued recovering. Surrounded with a lot of love, Gizmo thrived and became a joyful and energetic dog.
The rescue found him a great forever home, and the adorable pooch started a new life with his family who loves him deeply.
Gizmo’s once sad eyes now sparkle with happiness, and we couldn’t be happier for him.
Today’s story shows once again that compassion and kindness toward strays and abandoned animals can change their lives.
