Kind Bus Driver Rescues A Lost Pup Who Was Walking Through A Road In The Pouring Rain

When a bus driver named Stephany K. started her shift that rainy Monday, she had no idea that she would end up helping someone in great need.

She was driving her route in Milwaukee when she noticed a dog in the middle of the road. He was weaving through the traffic with a confused look on his face.

The pooch was soaking wet, and he didn’t seem to know where to go.

The moment he saw the bus, the canine directed his hopeful gaze toward the bus driver as if he knew that she would be his hero.

Being There For A Dog In Need

Stephany felt compelled to help him. She opened the bus door and called out for the sweet dog.

The pup felt glad because someone noticed him and came to his aid.

Without any hesitation, he got onboard and greeted the passengers, wagging his tail. The canine was extremely kind to everybody.

While the kind-hearted bus driver was calling the dispatchers to inform them that she had a dog onboard, the canine was exploring the bus.

In order to keep him safe, Stephany brought the doggo to her seat. She stroked him, wishing to let him know that everything would be alright.

The canine soaked up all her cuddles. He felt safe.

The dog didn’t seem to be worried or confused anymore. The delightful boi believed that the bus driver would help him.

The Pup Is Brought To Safety

A route supervisor picked the dog up and drove him to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Since the canine had a collar, everyone believed that he belonged to someone and hoped that he would find his way back to his family.

Luckily, the dog’s story had a happy ending. The pooch was reunited with his owner who was terribly worried for him.

Everyone at Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is proud of the kindness that their bus driver showed to the dog.

However, they are not surprised.

As a spokesperson for the Milwaukee County Transit System emphasized, their bus operators are always looking for ways to help others and make the world a better place.

“Our bus operators are the eyes and ears of the community. They are always looking out for the safety of others. It’s no surprise they find ways to make the world a little better every single day,” they told The Dodo.

The MCTS shared the video captured by the surveillance cameras on their social media and melted the hearts of many people.

They were touched by Stephany’s empathy and kindness toward the dog, who badly needed help.

Thanks to her, the adorable dog returned to the loving arms of his family.
