“The world can be a nasty place,” says a quote from a popular song, and sadly, that is definitely true. It is especially like that in the world of dogs, and through reading many heartbreaking stories, we can see that every day.
Today’s is just one more in a series of such stories, and it tells about human cruelty toward his best furry friend. This time, it was a whole canine family whose mother was mercilessly abused by the owner and ultimately, together with her ten babies, thrown out of the house.
The poor mother dog was broken and at the end of her strength, but she managed to hold on before good souls found her and her puppies.
Love Kept Her Alive
When the big-hearted rescuer of FAP found the mother dog and her babies in the woods, she was beside herself and trembling with fear.
Fortunately, these good people didn’t blame her because they knew everything she had went through between abuse, hunger, sun, rain, and abandonment. Besides that, she had to care for her loving babies in those unimaginable circumstances.
However, the little ones themselves, or more precisely, the love for her puppies, kept her alive and gave her strength to survive and continue.
That’s exactly why these kind people immediately went into action – they pulled this large canine family out of that awful place and immediately transferred them to safety.
Although she could notice that they meant her no harm, this poor mother dog was still in fear as she completely lost her faith in humans because the one she trusted the most betrayed her.
Luckily, since these people were full of love, she began to relax a bit, which was a sign that, despite all the difficulties, she was on the right path.
Toward Better Days
When they first came to the premises of the rescue organization, the mother dog’s puppies were starving because she didn’t have any milk.
Luckily, she still had a good appetite and she drank a lot of water. Therefore, her breasts filled with milk, with which she eventually fed her hungry babies and satisfied them.
After some time of non-stop care, affection, and love, it became a true joy watching this mother dog, whom they named Mana, and her babies. They were finally happy and healthy and there was no room for fear anymore.
Mana ate well, drank a lot of water, and eventually managed to gain 4.4 pounds. It was a good sign that she had an excellent recovery. Her children were also bursting with health.
After a while, everything fell into place for this canine family, and they just needed a forever home. Given that they managed to get out of that dark forest and come out into the light of day that now shines on them, we have no doubt that they will soon meet their happy ending as well.
